This beautiful antique wooden hutch was refurbished into a lovely looking Farmhouse lavender piece that would put lots of warmth and charm into your kitchen or dining room.
This hutch was restored and then refinished using a blend of lavender and plum. Salt wash was used to give a beautiful farmhouse texture that was then covered with white. The piece was then distressed lightly to show the salt wash finish under the white. Pretty images of lavender were then decoupaged onto the cabinet door and sides of the drawers and the piece was then sealed with top coat, clear and black wax. Black iron drawers knobs were added to complete the look.
